Rules

BIDCHAMP is a public leaderboard. There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay to stand above everyone else. Rank is what you pay — nothing else.

The boards

One payment ranks you on every board that includes that spend. The boards just look at different windows of time.

  • All-time is the main board. Rank is everything you have ever staked on that listing. It does not expire.
  • Today, on the home page, is a rolling 24 hours. Each payment counts from the moment it lands, then drops off the board a day later. Whoever spent the most in that window is #1.
  • Daily is a UTC calendar day — midnight to midnight. The current day stays live until it closes; past days freeze as a permanent archive. Rank there is what you spent that specific day, not the last 24 hours.

How ranking works

  • Listings start at $5 minimum, in whole dollars, up to $999,999 per payment.
  • Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current #1. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that amount can take — there is no minimum bid beyond the $5 floor.
  • Paying again for a URL that is already listed adds to its total — BIDCHAMP has no accounts, so anyone can add to any listing already on the board, including one that is not theirs. Equal totals keep the order they were placed in; the earlier listing keeps the higher rank.
  • Every payment that moves a listing above another plays as a fight in the arena, live for everyone watching. The outcome is never random — the higher stake always wins, and the fight is the reveal of a result your payment already decided.

What you can list

  • A product website. We no longer accept bare @handles — list the site itself.
  • You choose the category at checkout. We may recategorise a listing that is clearly in the wrong one.
  • Query strings are dropped from the URL you submit — only the domain and path are kept, so tracking parameters do not create a second listing for the same page.
  • Illegal, malicious, deceptive, sexual, hateful listings, or ones that impersonate someone else, are removed at our discretion — without refund.
  • Your fighter's colours are read automatically from the listed site's own favicon. There is nothing to configure.

After you pay

  • Your listing is public immediately. Clicks are counted and shown on the listing, so anyone can judge what a position is actually worth before paying for it.
  • A completed payment is what claims the rank. Payments are not refundable.
  • Paying means you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
